The first time I visited Disney World, I knew I’d be back. I fell in love with it: the foods, the drinks, the atmosphere…I have since been over 7 times with and without my child. If you’ve never been, it’s so much more than cartoon characters and roller coasters. This guide will help you plan for your next Disney trip with your family, the girls, or solo. I’m rounding up my favorite outfits, answering the most common questions, providing you my favorite places to eat and drink, and tons of tips!
Whether this is your first time visiting Disney World or you’ve been a million times, there’s something for you in this blog post!

FAQ’s

Favorite place to stay with kids at Disney?
Beach Club, hands down. The location is great because it’s right by the boardwalk. You can walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and you also get access to the Skyliner. Other places we’ve stayed and loved (in order): Animal Kingdom Lodge, Polynesian, Port Orleans, and Caribbean Beach Club. (Grand Floridian is next on our places we want to stay.)
Favorite Disney World park?
Epcot.
Favorite food and drinks at Disney?
The filet mignon sliders at the Boathouse in Disney Springs, the cheeseburger egg rolls at Magic Kingdom, and the Black Swan cocktail at Cake Bake on the Boardwalk.
Favorite cocktail at Disney?
The Black Swan at Cake Bake.

Do you use a travel agent or reco for one?
Yes, Samantha Oddo is amazing and makes my life so much easier when I am going to Disney.
How long do you usually stay?
We normally go about 5 days. We never do “no park days,” we just go, do what we gotta do and come home.
Something that’s splurge-worthy?
The Premiere Pass! Premiere Pass just makes your day less stressful, you can ride all the rides bypassing the standby line and you don’t need to schedule times to ride them. If you can’t budget for the Premiere Pass upgrade, then 100% get the Lighting Lanes. Lightning Lane is great, but you are on your phone a lot scheduling your next ride, which can be annoying and sometimes have you walking back and forth at the parks depending on when your ride times are scheduled.
Something that is not splurge-worthy?
Room upgrades. I am normally a “splurge on the room” girl because I want the bougie things when I’m on vacay, but you are literally never in your room.
Favorite ride?
Guardians of the Galaxy.

What I Pack Every Time I Go To Disney
If you take one thing from this blog post let it be these shoes. Since I discovered these they have been a non-negotiable for me and the only shoes I’ll wear to the park. And lots of my audience has tried them and agreed with me! I walk all day in these, and my feet never get sore or tired. And don’t forget your ears!
I hope this post was helpful! Something I love about Disney is there is always something else to try or experience so you can never get bored. If you have any questions or suggestions, please comment below or send me a DM on Instagram.
